KwaZulu-Natal

The options in KwaZulu-Natal are many and this tour can be arranged to follow on after the Kruger Park Tour or as a stand-alone tour. As with all of our tours, we are flexible. Among the major highlights are:

Kosi Bay : Dune forests and walks, excellent birding, rural countryside. Side trips to the stunning beaches for turtle watching and fishing. Snorkelling can be arranged from the lodges. "Swimming with dolphins" and scuba diving trips can be organised across the border in Mozambique.

St Lucia Wetlands : This World Heritage Site is a natural wetland and estuary and is host to a large variety of birds, crocodiles and hippos. It is the breeding site of the Zambezi Shark.

Game Reserves : There are many national and private game reserves in this area including Hluhluwe-Umfolozi, Mkuzi and Mkuzi Falls, Phinda, The Drakensberg Mountains, Itala and Pongola.
